Hi, I'm Rebekah May. I live in El Paso, Texas with my partner of eight years and my two sons, Christian 15 and Harley 12. I started bead working three years ago. First I started stringing and when that didn't hold my creative side, I went to the Tucson, Arizona bead show which began my passion with glass. The possibilities seemed endless, and I soon realized I needed to know everything about lampwork beads. I came home and found out there were not too many people who practiced the art of lampworking. I was still stringing beads and doing local art shows when I met Richard Inman, who was kind enough to give me a basic lampworking lesson. Since then I have not been able to stop thinking about melting glass. I have been lampworking now for two years and have come to realize that bead making has become more than just an art for me but rather a true passion.
